LATIN NAME: AGAPANTHUS AFRICANUS ‘PETER PAN’
The Basics
This perennial evergreen has strap-shaped leaves that curve upright. Its foliage is accompanied by delicate, light-blue blooms all year-round. It will reach 8-12 inches tall(8-12 inches wide). Ideally used as a background plant, edging and border, and makes a great container specimen.
The Needs
Amount of Sunlight: Full sun to partial shade
Amount of Water: Water regularly; more frequent watering in extreme heat; Drought tolerant
Soil Conditions: Prefers dry, well-drained soil
Cold Hardiness Zone: 7-11
The Care
This easy-to-grow evergreen shrub needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Pruning is not required.
